Applicant Requirements
The Black Students for Change Scholarship board looks for students who are in good academic standing and have a passion for advocating for social justice, voting, and change in their community. Below are the requirements to be a candidate for this scholarship:

Black

U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident

Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher

Must be senior at Dozier-Libbey with intentions to enroll full-time as an incoming freshman at a 4-year university, community college, or other educational institution during the 2021-2022 academic school year

Pre-registered or registered to vote.

In order to receive this scholarship, you must complete each of the following actions and submit them through their respected links located on the home page of this website.

Fill out and submit the Parent Consent form (if under 18)

Submit a 5-minute video questionnaire

Complete a community service project by May 15, 2021. A report of the service project should include photos or documents, at least 125 words, and must be submitted through the Google form link by May 15, 2021.
